3. Content Rules

4. Obligations as a User
o Follow all applicable laws.
o You are solely responsible for activity on your account.

o Back up your content regularly.

o Wix controls how its services are delivered and may adjust pricing or impose content/storage limits.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
o Copy or reverse engineer Wix’s software or content

o Harm Wix’s reputation or misuse its trademarks
o Interfere with networks, bypass security, or overload systems

6. Ownership of Content

o You own your content, and Wix doesn't claim ownership.
o However, Wix can copy, store, and use your content as needed to provide and
improve its services (e.g., for backups, AI training, performance).
o Wix retains ownership of its own intellectual property (designs, code, templates,
etc.).

7. Feedback and Suggestions
If you submit ideas or feedback to Wix, they become Wix’s property. They can use it
freely for product improvement, marketing, or technical support.

 Wix and third-party services may collect and use personal data about you and your site visitors, including activity and navigation data.
 You're encouraged to review Wix's Privacy Policy and those of any third-party tools you
use.
�� 5. AI Services
 Wix offers AI tools to help create content for your website.
 Inputs (e.g., text or images) you provide and Outputs generated by the AI are treated
as your content, and you're responsible for their use.
 AI outputs may be inaccurate, biased, or legally problematic—you must review them
before publishing or using them.
 Outputs are not unique and may be similar to content generated for others.
 You retain ownership of AI-generated content, but Wix is granted a license to use your
inputs and outputs to improve services and enforce rules.
 You and your users must comply with third-party AI provider policies.
�� Service Fees & Payments
 Some Wix services require payment (“Paid Services”), which must be made in
advance. Prices are in USD and typically exclude taxes.
 Wix can change prices at any time and will notify you if it affects your subscription.
 Promotional discounts expire automatically, after which you’ll be charged the full
current rate.
 If you buy through a Reseller, payment and terms are handled with them—not Wix.
 You must store a valid credit card on file to pay for services.

 Wix issues electronic invoices, available via your account or email.
 These may not meet local law requirements, so verify accordingly
�� Subscription Renewals
 Most Paid Services auto-renew by default to avoid service disruption.
 You’ll be charged using your stored card unless you turn off auto-renewal.
 You're responsible for ensuring your subscriptions renew successfully.
 Wix isn’t liable for any service loss due to non-renewal or payment failure.
�� Refund Policy
 Wix offers a 14-day money-back guarantee for new Premium Plan purchases (not
renewals or upgrades).
 Some services are non-refundable, like domains or third-party apps—check before
purchasing.
 Refunds may be adjusted due to currency or third-party fees.

⚠️ Chargebacks
 If you issue a chargeback, your account may be suspended or terminated.
 You're liable for all related fees and must repay to restore service.
 Contact Wix support before disputing a charge to avoid account issues.
❌ Cancellations
 You can cancel at any time, but service ends at the end of the current billing period.
 To avoid auto-renewal, cancel at least 14 days in advance.
 If you purchased through a Reseller, cancellation terms are defined by them.

 Wix may suspend or cancel your account for non-payment or rule violations.
 Cancellation can result in loss of data, content, and services, including domains.
 Wix does not back up your data, and recovery may incur extra fees.
E-Commerce & Related Services – Key Points
8. E-Commerce
 You can sell products, services, and event tickets via your Wix site.
 Wix Payments is the default processor (if available); you can also use other payment
providers, subject to their own terms.
 Event ticket sales may include additional Wix service fees.
 Your responsibilities:
o Handle taxes, invoices, and compliance with all applicable laws.
o Ensure your products are legal, safe, and properly described.
o Provide customer support and accurate contact info.
 Wix is not liable for your sales or customer disputes and may remove your content or
store at its discretion.
9. Video Services
 You may need a license from MPEG-LA for certain video use.
 You are solely responsible for obtaining this license and will indemnify Wix for any
misuse.
10. Third-Party Services
 You can use third-party tools (e.g., domains, design tools, plugins).
 Wix does not endorse or take responsibility for these services.
 You’re responsible for complying with third-party terms and fees.
 Wix can remove any third-party service from your site/account without notice.
11. Additional Services
 Wix Logo Maker and Email Marketing services have their own specific terms.
 You must read and agree to those terms in addition to the general Wix Terms.
12. Wix Studio
 Wix Studio Workspace is for agencies and freelancers building websites/apps for
others.
 Wix may revoke access if you don't meet these criteria.
13. Misconduct & Copyright
13.1 Misconduct
 Wix is not responsible for offensive or illegal content from users or third-party services.
 You can report abuse, but Wix isn’t obligated to act on it.
13.2 Copyright
 Wix follows the DMCA. You can file a copyright complaint if your content is infringed.
 If Wix receives a valid notice, it may remove your content or disable your account.
 You may file a counter-notice if you believe content was removed in error.

14. Disclaimers
 Wix services are provided “as is” with no warranties for quality, security, or
compatibility.
 Wix is not liable for user content, errors, bugs, or third-party interactions.
 Use of beta features may involve bugs or disruptions.
15. Limitation of Liability
 Wix is not liable for any damages (direct or indirect) from using their services, including:
o Data loss, service interruptions, or third-party issues
o Acts of nature, government, or force majeure

16. Indemnity
 You agree to cover Wix’s costs (legal, financial, etc.) if your use of the service causes

 These terms are governed by Israeli law, with disputes handled in Tel Aviv courts.
 U.S. payment disputes are handled under New York law.
